I try not to get down about not BF #1 and #2. Knowing what I know now, and seeing all the milk I can produce, I KNOW I would have been able to succesfully BF the other 2. I want to have more babies just to I can breastfeed them! Haha kinda crazy, I know.
-nicoleAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6073650201646308060.post-18404446291261766952011-01-27T11:43:43.807-08:002011-01-27T11:43:43.807-08:00Thank you!! and Thankyou IndiaRoses, With my seco...Thank you!! and Thankyou IndiaRoses, With my second I have had the most awesome experience, which I will write about soon, she's been breastfeeding for 10 months and going strong. I was so tired that at night they just fed him formula, a couple of times w/o even asking me. I felt horrible about it but he couldn't latch so everytime he needed to feed I had to pump and then feed him with a tube using the Finger Feeding technique. He didn't learn to latch until he was 3 weeks old and the finger feedings were exhausting. Sadly, the ONLY thing that kept me from buying formula myself was the cost. I knew we couldn't afford to keep up with it so I kept trying to teach him to latch and finally, after 3 weeks, he got it. It was a hard and dark period but it has made everything else with breastfeeding seem like such a breeze. I tell everyone if you can make it through the first 1-4 weeks you will be fine.
Ironically I only had the horrible engorged leaking boobies with Teddy. With the rest I never had any issues my milk supply just came in and established itself quickly. Maybe because they are all so close in age lol, my boobs have memory I guess.Christyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01450553014545257969noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6073650201646308060.post-2477086346951581622011-01-27T07:12:28.010-08:002011-01-27T07:12:28.010-08:00I'm pregnant with my first child and due any d...I'm pregnant with my first child and due any day now. I really appreciate this post. I feel like I now know better than I did before how important breast feeding is, and that though it may be hard I need to persevere and make it to the other side because it's what is best for me and my baby. you may have enabled some women to feel better about stopping breastfeeding, but you've enabled this woman to really really work through it if she has too! Thank you

http://indiasroses.wordpress.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
